I'll be producing a series of artifacts based on perhaps H.P. Lovecraft's most famous literary creation, the mythical Cthulhu. Some time ago I toyed with the idea of making a
bust. That's still a possibility but I think it'll be best to start small, and work my way up to more substantial pieces, providing there's enough interest.
First up, is this tea-light holder:
The final piece will measure approximately 4-5 inches in diameter and feature a faux bronze finish with green patina.
Next up is a small wall relief. The design is meant to look like a fragment of a ruin of an ancient lost city. The master sculpt is nearly finished!
The finished piece will measure about 4 1/2" tall and will feature a sturdy wire loop in the back for easy wall hanging.
