I just placed a listing up on the EvilBay for an extremely rare 16-inch replica of the Nautilus from Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Icons, the pioneer of providing highly-accurate movie prop replicas to collectors. Sadly, while these were being produced, Icons was nearing the end of their business run due to financial difficulties. Because of this, this particular item never quite made it into full production, making it exceedingly rare. Reportedly no more than 200 pieces were ever produced before the company closed its doors forever (though countless copies have been sold over the years).
The example you see here was actually originally one of only a handful of actual raw unfinished hulls made during its very short production. Due to their age, these hulls were originally in rough shape, missing pieces and chipped in areas. I had the personal pleasure of acquiring one of these and painstakingly restoring it and finishing it to what the final product would have looked like using reference photos of a final production model. Nearly all spare missing parts were either acquired direct from Scott Brodeen (the original prop maker responsible for designing this collectible), or accurately fabricated from scratch.
